With a long-time career in corporate management and business development, Jonathan Breshin is a knowledgeable and tested speaker on a range of topics. Jonathan parlayed this experience to become a Founder and Senior Instructor at Root of Movement Internal Arts (www.rootofmovement.com), responsible for all business operations. They teach Chinese internal arts including Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Ba Gua Zhang, Xing Yi Quan and Taiji Quan to individuals, groups and organizations throughout the US.
This initiative draws on Jonathan’s own internal arts training and certifications. Having studied at New York Internal Arts (NYIA) and Internal Arts International (IAI) since 2010, he was certified as an instructor in 2016. He is also certified in Chinese medical massage (Tui Na) under Zheng Gu Tui Na since 2015.
Jonathan’s studies include training in China in Ba Gua Zhang and Qin Na, and he is a long-term student of Tom Bisio, also benefitting from time with Gao Ji Wu, Zhao Da Yuan, Tim Cartmel and Luo Dexiu.
Jonathan began his management career in internal arts in 2015 working with Zheng Gu Tui Na, helping to manage operations, business development, long-term strategy and product development. He also works with Plum Dragon Herbs as an independent wholesale distributor selling directly to licensed practitioners.
